His Excellency the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda awarded Prof. Dr. Pranas Viškelis the Cross of the Officer of the Order of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas during the broadcast on Lithuanian radio and television on February 16.
“Pranas Viškelis is a full member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, chairperson of the Food Quality and Safety Commission of the Agricultural and Forest Sciences Division of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, head of the Biochemistry and Technology Laboratory of the Institute of Horticulture of the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry; professor of Kaunas University of Technology, active developer of innovative biologically valuable food products of plant origin and their processing technologies” states the decree of the President of the Republic of Lithuania.
