1985–1998 PhD in Biomedical sciences (Forestry), Lithuanian University of Agriculture (since 2019 Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy).

1981–1985 Biologist, lecturer of biology and chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Vilnius University.
