Involvement in programmes and projects
- 1999–2002 Danish-Lithuanian project “Afforestation of abandoned agricultural land based on sustainable forest management”, co-operator.
- 1999–2002 afforested 70 ha of private and 80 ha of state land with different species composition using different soil scarification methods (including deep/trench ploughing up to 60 cm).
- Since 2002 continuing afforestation project, planted about 2000 ha of new forests (different species composition, scarification, including deep ploughing, different soil conditions).
