1982–1987 Engineer of Forestry, Faculty of Forestry, Lithuanian Academy of Agriculture (since 2019 Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy).

Doctor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Forestry, the title of doctoral dissertation is “Phenotypic variability of wild apple and wild pear”.
