1989–1995 Economist qualification, Faculty of Economics, Lithuanian Agriculture University (since 2019 Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy). 

1984–1987 Forest technician qualification, Kaunas Forestry College (now – Kaunas Forestry and Environmental Engineering University of Applied Sciences).

2001 Doctor of Biomedical (now Agriculture) sciences (Forestry), dissertation “The development of private forestry of Lithuania (1991–2000) and it’s evaluation”.
