1976–1983 B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Scientific Agronomy Faculty of Agronomy, Lithuanian Academy of Agriculture (since 2019 Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy), Kaunas.

2008 The habilitation procedure was carried out according to the review of submitted scientific works “Application of lakes sapropel on the soil of light texture”.

1991 PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Agronomy, Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture, PhD thesis “Efficiency of lake silt (sapropel) on field crops rotation in different soils”.

International

  • 2020–2023 FACCE SURPLUS project “Cultivation of biologically sustainable and climate-friendly plant production for food and feed on low productivity soils” (BioFoodOnMars). Support for international scientific research and technological development projects is intended for the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • 2010–2014 COST action National delegate for COST FA0905 “Mineral-improved crop production for healthy food and feed”.
  • 2004–2009 COST action National delegate for COST Action 725, Establishing a European Phenological Data Platform for Climatological Applications.

  • 2021 RTO Lithuania project “New ways of extracting valuable substances from algae grown in integrated multitrophic aquaculture”.
