Conference "Novel Methods for Circulating Plant Nutrients – Consequences for Fertiliser Value and Soil Fertility" took place on 15–16 September, 2016, in Akademija (Instituto al. 1, Kėdainiai distr.). Participants went to conference tour: professional visit to AB "Lifosa" and farm of Virgilijus Kuprevičius "Tikras ūkis".

The basic product manufactured at AB "Lifosa" is the nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizer Diammonium Phosphate (DAP), the process of which requires phosphoric acid and sulphuric acid, which are also produced at the Company. Fluorine, the by-product of phosphoric acid process, is further utilized and reprocessed into Aluminium Fluoride. Feed additives, such as Monocalcium Phosphate, are produced from phosphoric acid.

During the 14 years a one hectare land holding, cherished by Kuprevičiai family, has grown into a farm of 140 hectares equipped with modern technique. At present it is one of the largest carrot and cabbage farm in the country, which has twice received the Best Farm of the Year Award. "Tikras ūkis" is recognized by the national Ministry of Agriculture as one of the most advanced vegetable farms in Lithuania.
