At the international conference “X Southeastern and Eastern Europe Symposium on Vegetables and Potatoes”, Dr. Giedrė Samuolienė delivered a keynote lecture entitled “Towards Climate-Resilient and Sustainable Vegetable and Potato Production: Innovations and Circular Solutions”, presenting innovations and circular approaches for climate-resilient and sustainable vegetable and potato production.
The event brought together scientists from 18 countries. The programme included 5 keynote lectures, 46 oral presentations, and 35 poster presentations. Participants also visited greenhouses producing fruiting vegetables and a packaging company, gaining insight into advanced cultivation and supply chain practices.
Dr. G. Samuolienė was elected Vice-Chair of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) Section on Greenhouses and Controlled Environment Horticulture for the 2026–2030 term.
