16th meeting of the Nordic Baltic Resistance Action Group (NORBARAG)

On March 13–14, the16th meeting of the Nordic Baltic Resistance Action Group (NORBARAG) is taking place in Vilnius. This year, the event is organized by scientists from the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry.

The goal of the meeting is to strengthen international cooperation in order to better understand the emerging challenges of plant protection resistance and to provide the most effective strategies for combating pathogens and pests.

The meeting is attended by more than 70 scientists, consultants, agribusiness representatives and policymakers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The event participants share data from completed or ongoing research, discuss trends in the spread of harmful organisms, the damage they cause, potential solutions to emerging threats and pest control measures, and present the results of the evaluation of the effectiveness of plant protection products in individual countries and regions.
