The Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (LAMMC) welcomed Vice-Minister of the Economy and Innovation Paulius Petrauskas and Ugnė Širvinskaitė, Head of the Innovation Policy Group at the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation (EIMIN).

During the visit, we presented LAMMC’s opportunities for collaboration with businesses and showed how an idea can progress from concept to practical implementation.

The guests visited the LAMMC Open Access Centre, where technologies for the production of food and bio-based industry products are developed and tested, and innovative ideas can be turned into practical solutions.

Here, businesses can work together with LAMMC researchers to identify the most suitable technological solutions, conduct trials, and assess the potential of a product or technology before moving on to further stages of development.

We also presented LAMMC’s plans to further expand its infrastructure and capabilities, with the aim of fostering even stronger collaboration between science and business.
