Call for Young Researchers – Build Your First Team!

The Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (LAMMC) invites young researchers who completed their PhD within the last 7 years to apply for the “My First Team” program, implemented by the Research Council of Lithuania. Register yourself for the Pre-announcement call of „My First Research Team“.

What you might get:

• Up to €350,000 for the establishment of the first research team.
• Employment contract for up to 3 years.
• Opportunity to finally turn your project into reality.

Eligibility:

• PhD must have been completed within the last 7 years (excluding maternity/paternity leave or long-term sick leave).
• The principal applicant must not have led projects funded by the Research Council of Lithuania.

Projects should align with Lithuania’s smart specialisation priorities (more in the comments) and LAMMC’s research directions. The project's anticipated start date is no later than September 1, 2026.
