The Lithuanian Academy of Sciences has established 19 named prizes, which are awarded every four years.
The Juozas Lazauskas (plant breeding, plant breeding) prize was awarded to Assoc. Prof. Dr. VYTAUTAS RUZGAS for the scientific work Restoration of Winter Wheat and Rye Breeding: Paths and Results (provided by the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry).
