On 15–17 September, the third consortium meeting of the BELIS project (“Breeding European Legumes for Increased Sustainability”) took place at the Center of Plant Systems Biology and Biotechnology (CPSBB) in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The meeting brought together around 60 representatives from 32 project partner organisations across Europe.
LAMMC was represented by Dr Rita Armonienė, Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Genetics and Physiology.
During the meeting, the project partners presented the progress of the project’s seven work packages and discussed the research results achieved so far, ongoing experiments, data processing stages, and the upcoming project activities.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the partners not only to assess the project’s progress but also to coordinate further activities and strengthen international cooperation in the field of bioeconomy research.
