LAMMC will be tranformed to a public institution

On October 20, the Government approved the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania to transform the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (LAMMC) from a budgetary institution to a public institution. The change of legal status will facilitate more efficient conduct of fundamental and applied research of national, societal, and business importance and the use of its results for industry.
