LAMMC hosted researchers Edīte Jākobsone and Jekaterīna Butkeviča from the Institute of Plant Protection “Agrihorts” of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
During the visit, they took part in practical training on the preparation of insecticide-treated glass vials for insect resistance studies. The training took place at the Department of Plant Pathology and Protection laboratory, Institute of Agriculture, and was led by Dr. Mohammad Almogdad.
This visit marks the beginning of cooperation in the field of insecticide resistance research within the joint scientific project entitled “Assessment of the risk of harmful organism resistance to the use of plant protection products”.
