This seminar is part of the activities of the international capacity-building project “Portfolio of technology transfer for acceleration and improvement of wheat breeding activities in Ukraine”. The main goal of the project is to expand the knowledge of Ukrainian scientists about the latest methodologies and technologies applied in wheat selection, which can speed up the breeding of wheat varieties. This will be very important for the Ukrainian economy in the Post-War period.
During the seminar, scientific activities related to grass and cereal pre-breeding, breeding, genetics as well as the latest methods used to speed up the breeding process will be presented. New research possibilities will also be discussed.
