PhD student of the Institute of Agriculture Renaldas Žydelis from February 7th to August 6th was in internship in Germany. Scholarship was funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt DBU). Under the DBU Fund program, intensive German courses took place from February 7 to March 1 at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Osnabrück). From March to April the practice was carried out at the Jülich Interdisciplinary Research Centre (Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, Institut Agrosphäre IBG-3).
During the internship, PhD student became acquainted with one of the largest and most famous interdisciplinary research centres in Europe. He established valuable relationships with scientists working in the field of plant modeling, discussed the potential for further cooperation.
